My Code of Ethics
Ethics are an important part of both my professional and personal life. I work to make every interaction that I participate in a reflection of the core values I describe below.
Truth
Growing up, I was always counseled by my parents that honesty matters more than anything else. I have remembered that lesson into my adulthood and work to be truthful about everything, even if it isn't convenient.
Advocacy
My work in politics and NGOs has taught me that none of us can succeed without someone backing us up. I hope to be someone in business and life that comes to the aid of the underdog and fights on their behalf.
Dependability
I stand behind the decisions I make, as well as the people I work with. I pride myself on being a trusted confidant and someone who can always be relied upon.
Fairness
Every single person I meet starts off on an equal playing-field. I think that chances should be given to all people who are trying their best to do the best work possible.
Responsibility
I take responsibility for the choices I make. Projects that I commit to are taken seriously and managed well in order to bring about the best results.
Teamwork
All of us can only do so much alone. I flourish in a setting where I can help to build something with other intelligent, creative people.
